To check in for our day passes, we entered through the hotel's restaurant, Morini to find the front desk. The agent checked us in with no hassle, gave us our key cards and we also saw that they offered bike rentals. The key cards gave us access to the elevator which led us up to the rooftop deck. There we found a nice bar area, plenty of open loungers, their crystal clear rooftop pool, a few cabanas, and endless rooftop views! Taking a walk around the rooftop deck, we found various colorful, chic patio furnishings to lounge and chat on. There was also a green space perfect for yoga. Everywhere you look, you are surrounded by 360 city views. We enjoyed our time by the pool in one of the cabanas, which are first come, first serve and got to dip our toes in the water. The rooftop wasn't crowded and everyone was in their own world enjoying themselves. The Kimpton Palomar is definitely the spot if you're looking for an upscale, yet peaceful environment to lounge, read, chat or just to take in the beautiful rooftop views. We were pleasantly surprised by a complimentary wine tasting in the lobby which was a nice added bonus to our daycation.

Everything was as described. I am pleasantly surprised at how smoothly this went. Valet parking at the hotel was perfect and the entire staff there was awesome. I'm defintely using the service again soon.

All outdoor furniture comfy. Good if you like small low key pool setting.

It was great staff was awesome, there were quite a few dirty daybeds (dirt and stains). Overall the experience was great super relaxing and I would do it again

I booked a day pass with two friends and we had so much fun. The staff were all great and attentive. I will for sure be back. The only disappointing thing was no variety in food. We ordered hummus but it came very small. We would of loved to have hamburger and chicken wings. Other than that it was a great place with great vibe.
