It was a great experience, my only humbug was that other sites had a cheaper kamaaina rate but I was already on this one so I booked it.

Easy check in. Parking was validated with food receipt. So much fun for 1 day. Lots of fun things to do within now resort. Pool, Beach, lagoon with white sand

Not crowded. Well maintained and it was easy to check in and out. Love the property and the lagoon was great for snorkeling!

Everything was great-I actually lost my wallet-with ID, money and credit cards! Someone found it and lost and found contacted me and returned it. Everything was in it. And the amenities and views were outstanding.

The transaction was smooth, with no hassle at all. One of us did get bitten by red/fire ants, which was mentioned in pervious reviews but he survived. The selection of food was extremely limited, and was only served for a short amount of time, so although that was kind of a bummer we just made sure we ordered enough to last us for a whole day at the pool. The hotel grounds has so much to do to keep kids and adults entertained all day. Overall we had a wonderful time and will definitely do it again.

HWV is always a plea sent experience for the whole family. The only thing I could possibly suggest for the establishment, would be to keep the food service open till maybe 5.

We had such a fun time w our grandson at the resort’s pools, water slides and lagoon area. Lunch was amazing. Glad we found Daycation to make it happen!

It was wonderful! The lagging was the best part as you could see lots of marine turtles. Totally worth it!

Great day, we were staying at a vacation home and it lacked some of the resort amenities that you hope for while on vacation. So this worked out perfect for my family and I.

We had a wonderful time. Couldn't have been any easier! From the check in to getting towels and chairs by the pool. We will definitely use your services again.

The overall experience was good. I’ve purchased daycations in the past and parking was included after spending $50 on food/beverage however I was told it wasn’t able to be validated which was kind of upsetting being it’s a regular daycation spot for myself living in Kona. Still a good day

I went with spouse and 3 kids, 10-15, because I read online that the pool at our resort wasn't very kid friendly. This pool was great. The main pool is big. The slide is fun, but the line gets long. There is also a salt water lagoon and another pool. The staff were great. The food was good and very overpriced. It was kind of a Disney experience.

We had a really great day! We spent time by several pools and enjoyed lunch. We also spent some time watching the dolphins!

It was a nice day w my ohana, poolside .. definitely need more shade options .. but barservice poolside was good.

This was a great transition day from our rental in Puako to the flight back home. The kids really enjoyed the pool and the slide and we adults enjoyed reading and swimming and playing with the kids. Check in was very easy, towels were easy to get. I do wish there was a changing room or two to be able to change into plane clothes.

We always love coming here when we visit the big island. Everything went smoothly and I was able to save a little $$ by going through daycation. We will definitely use them again.

Loved it! Easy check in and check out. The parking was actually free yesterday so that was awesome. Though I expected more with the food. It was very limited & the sandwich bread was soo dry.

Had a nice day at the Hilton Waikaloa on the Big Island of Hawaii. Booked through the Daycation app and it worked great! They were very quick to respond to a schedule change on my end. Would use them again.

Had a great time at the hotel, which seemed to still be impacted by Covid. Only negative comment was limited poolside menu, but selections were fine.

Spent the day at the pools which were very nice and clean. Food options for families was quite limited and could be improved.

The only good option at the main pool was closed for a private event leaving very limited food options

Left Hilo at 11:30am, arrived poolside at 1:30pm, caught the best end of the afternoon, pool slide jamming until 4pm, chilly and cold outside but thw hot tub is niiiiiiiiiice, ate at the queen shops at 5:45pm and got home in Hilo by 7:35pm. Great way to spend time with close friends who are staying at the hotel.

We are locals here on this island and we love going to the Hilton Waikoloa as the kids love the pools and slides. This is the first time we used Daycation and I was so pleased that everything went so smoothly. We went straight to the check in at the pool and all she needs was my last name. They gave us a towel card so we could use the hotel towels and didnt have to bring our own. That was less things to carry and less things to wash when we got home!!! The kids had a blast, of course, because they loved the SLIDE. Overall my experience with Daycation was a 5 STAR experience!! Thank you so much Daycation!!

As a wedding present we booked a Day Pass at the Hilton Waikoloa HOTEL. They enjoyed the pool and all of the restaurants.

I had a great day at the Hilton! The day pass was so easy to use, check in was a breeze and I had so much fun enjoying the lux ambiance!

Always have the best time and the slide definitely keeps my boys occupied. The waterfalls are always exciting for my little one. Amazing memories Mahalo🌴

Beautiful resort hotel and we were so glad for the opportunity to spend a day there to participate in all the amenities that a hotel guest can experience! We snorkeled in their large lagoon and swam in their pool that has a jacuzzi and waterfall inside a cave! Check in for day passes was a little challenging to find, but once we did (walk through Resort to far end to little booth by Kona Pool), we had a wonderful time! Thanks, Daycation, for having the Hilton Waikaloa Resort as an option for day passes! :)

The only thing we didn’t enjoy was the cost of the outing, and that might be my miserliness rather than anything else. We especially liked getting out on the lagoon on the paddle boats and paddle boards. We saw so many colorful fish and at least five sea turtles swimming around. Sunset at Buddha Point was fantastic

Definitely will book a day pass here again. Totally worth the money, day pass comes with a guest card on arrival for free towels and had an amazing lunch with my partner.

It was a great experience, loved swimming and snorkeling at the laguna area, swam along and saw sea turtles there and other different type fish, too. It was a beautiful day there and nice cool breeze blowing. Over all the place a great place visiting.

We had a blast. The only opportunity for improvement that stood out is the food selection. For a resort like this, I was expecting great food options. Instead it was hot dogs, pizza, grab and go wraps and chips.

A phenomenal day that truly transported us away from the trials, tribulations and worry of todays world. I am recovering from a broken back (4 months) so I wore my brace and although I can’t swim yet the pools and the lagoon provided a safe & clean place to walk in the water, exercise and soak in the sun and relax in ways we have not been able to do in the past two years …what a gift! A spectacular property…a spectacular day we will always remember!

It was incredible. Much less stress with having a day outing than having to leave home for a night or two. I believe by doing a “daycation” we actually got more use of the pools and grounds. Even with part of the large pool and big slide being closed for renovations we had a great time as there was still enough to do!!

The lagoon is very nice, but there was a event at the hotel and not a lot of space, and the food is very expensive

We had a good time hanging out at the pools. The toddler’s enjoyed the sandy kids pool and floating tubs. They even went down the slide at the kohala pool. Thank you for having the pass for us locals to enjoy the pool for the day. We’ll be back soon!

My son only wanted to come to the Hilton Waikoloa for his birthday. We had lots of fun and the drive from Hilo was worth it. Maybe not the best time of year as the water was cold and the pool and hot tubs were super full because a lot of snowbirds come over in the colder months, but that isn't the hotel's fault. Staff are absolutely wonderful here! The food was very expensive and not great but there was a lot of it, so we could share.

Was not expecting the lazy river and associated pool to be closed. Last year in October when we visited, that pool and lazy river was open but the other pool was unexpectedly closed. Wish they had pool side service available.

I would never use Daycation again! Difficult to navigate, does not let you change dates if you make an error.

Our experience was extremely good today. We were greeted in a very friendly and professional manner, Check-in was very easy and a requested change in cabana location was handled without any trouble at all. Our server throughout the day was incredibly attentive and pleasant, and the mixed drinks were expertly poured.

We booked with daycation for the Hilton Waikoloa for 3 of us, my husband got sick and wasn’t able to go with us for the day, the lady that helped us was going to get ahold of you to see if we could get a refund for just one of us. Had a great time, I just recommend a little more detail from the hotel directing the people to the place to check in, you do not have to go to the front desk check in, it is a pool check in and this location is rather large so directions/information would be great.

It was a wonderful day except the instructions told us to check in at the wrong location. So we wasted time in the wrong line & then had to continue on to the pool check in desk to stand in line again.

We always enjoy a day at the pool. I would say the prices of food and pool accessories I feel are well over priced for Kamaaina families. I know it’s more for the tourist but Kamaaina should have some type of special price or discount.

Enjoyed the time. Wish I had more clarification about where to check in. The document said check in at hotel front desk but we were redirected to another area near the beach.

I was supposed to get a response for a possible $60 refund for two cancellations. I never heard back from anyone.

Great escape from hilo side. Kids had a blast and we got to enjoy the shaving hotel for a great value. We'll definitely do it again in the near future

The wind was blowing pretty hard down at Waikoloa so being at the pool was perfect because the hotel blocked most of the wind and that also meant we weren’t getting sand blasted if we were at the beach. Having the option to enjoy hotel amenities for the day is such a great option! Will define booking another hotel day!

Came here on my last day in Hawaii! Had a 9 pm flight. We enjoyed the day, showered in the spa and ate dinner before our trip home! Great experience

Our experience was amazing and the service was outstanding! Every employee that we encountered, including the front desk clerk, the lagoon / towel attendants, the pool bar & grill server, and the bell hop, was very welcoming, professional, and friendly; each of them provided service with a smile! Our daycation consisted of walking around the beautifully tended grounds, swimming in the pool, suntanning, and having a little picnic (from the pool bar and grill) on the grass by the ocean. We could not have asked for a better day ... the sun was shining and there was a gentle ocean breeze ... the conditions were perfect! Although we did not take advantage of the water rentals in the lagoon, I'm glad they were included in the daycation package -- we will definitely do that in the future! The only thing that was lacking was access to the spa. In the past, as a member of Hilton Grand Vacations Club, I received a pass to use the amenities at the spa, complete with a jacuzzi, steam, and sauna ... it was heavenly, and I was hoping to enjoy it again, but I enjoyed my experience nonetheless!

The price we paid was half the cost of all the other options! We thought it was a scam all the way until we checked in.

We had an awesome trip. The service was very friendly and on point. Awesome hotel! We definitely will be coming back for another day action.
